Billy Wayne Cannon, age 84, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Southgate Living Center in Caruthersville, MO.

He was born on March 20, 1941, in Jefferson City, MO, to the late Bill and Agnes Morris Cannon. Billy was a dedicated employee for Mill Pallets, known for his hard work and lifelong commitment to his job. An avid outdoorsman, he loved spending time with his family and cherished every moment with them.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, November 10, 2025 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Pastor John Fine officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors beginning at 12 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Survivors include his three sons, Billy Cannon, Tony Cannon and Curtis Cannon; a nephew that cared for him, Tim Burns and wife Crystal; two nieces, Reba Owens and Pam Cannon; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by a son, David Moore; a sister, Betty Burns; a brother, Herman Lee Cannon; and a half-brother, Robert Roberson.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Tim Burns, Cary Dale Enochs, A.J. Enochs, Matt Burns, Tyler Burns and Eli Mahan.
