Bill Hobbs' Obituary
Bill Hobbs, 83, of Dyersburg, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional.
He was the retired owner of Bill Hobbs Heating & Air. Bill was also a member of Center United Methodist Church and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Tilley and Bro. Ralph Gunter officiating. Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery.
The Hobbs Family will receive visitors from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Sherrye Hobbs of Dyersburg; a daughter, Jill Hobbs of Dyersburg; a son, Randy Hobbs of Dyersburg; and a granddaughter, Gabrielle Hobbs of Nashville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lue Berry Douglas Hobbs and Bessie M. Wright Hobbs.
Pallbearers will be Michael Hall, Joe Wood, Wilbur Walton, Andy Windle, Phil Bivens, and George Naifeh.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the Dyersburg/Dyer County Humane Society, 1120 East Court Street, Dyersburg, TN 38024.
