William Thomas "Bill" Cook, age 75, of Tiptonville, passed away Saturday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was retired as Facilities Manager at Northwest Correctional Facility, member of First Baptist Church in Tiptonville, where he was a Deacon and had been a Sunday School teacher, and a member of the Harmony Masonic Lodge.
Funeral Services will be Monday, May 9, 2011 at Tiptonville First Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Johnny Chessor officiating. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Survivors include his son, Danny Cook and wife, Nanette, of Tiptonville; a brother, Jack Cook of Portage, IN.; two grandchildren, Drew Cook and Allison Cook, both of Tiptonville; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Hood Cook; and his parents, Robert and Mary Ruth Kilpatrick Cook.
The family requests that memorials be directed to First Baptist Church in Tiptonville.
