Mrs. Beverly Ballard Jelonek, of Dyersburg, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at West Tennessee Healthcare-Jackson General Hospital.  She was born March 3, 1950 in Henning, TN to the late Jayroe & Fran Ballard.  Throughout her life, she loved to travel, was an avid reader and music lover.  She was a devoted member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and volunteered for many years as a Girl Scout leader.  She loved to sew for family and friends and was a seamstress for the community, all of her life.

She is survived by her husband, of 53 years, Richard Jelonek, her son, Ricky Jelonek and wife, Heather, her daughters, Tiffany Rice and husband, Chad and Sara Cravens and husband, Roger, her son-in-law, Tim Neville and her sister, Judy Ballard.   She was adored and was known as "MeMe" by her thirteen grandchildren, Judy Kate, Jonathan, Chloe, Hannah, Nathan, Matthew, Evan, Lily, Taylor, Emme, Collin, Hutson and Lawson and her two great-grandchildren, Olivia & Eli.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Jennifer Neville.

Family and friends are asked to gather on Monday, July 17, 2023 at 11:00 am for a Funeral Mass to be held at Holy Angels Catholic Church, led by Father Patrick Hirtz.  Inurnment will follow in the Holy Angels columbarium.  Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Neville, Chad Rice and Roger Cravens.

The family ask that memorial donations be directed to the ministries of Holy Angels Catholic Church.
