Obituary

Beverly Joyce Clark, 66, of Dyersburg, went home to be with the Lord on June 2, 2010. She was employed as a bus driver for the Dyer County School System from 1977 until 1986. She was a retiree of Dyersburg Fabrics since 1995. She was a faithful member of the Northside (N. 51) Church of Jesus Christ since June 20, 1982. She enjoyed spending time with her family, church family, neighbors and friends. She also enjoyed watching horseback riding and was an avid reader.

Home going services will be held at Northside Church of Jesus Christ on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 2 p.m. and will be provided by Dyersburg Funeral Home. Officiating will be her pastor Brother Ray Winstead. Visitation will be Friday, June 4, 2010 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include her four children; Joyce Harris of Arkansas, Crystal Bickford of Oklahoma, Rebecca Moore and Paul Clark, both of Dyersburg; her siblings, Nancy Floyd, Tom Bennett and Mike Bennett, all of Indiana, and Frank Bennett of Tennessee; her grandchildren, Drew Murphy of Florida, Tabatha Murphy, Jacyntha Bickford, Brooklyn Veal, Amber Turnbo and Chelsea Moore, all of Dyersburg; and her great-grandchildren, C.J. Murphy, Will Carbino, Levi Poindexter, Isaac Campbell, Jordan Veal and Makaylah Arnett.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Robert Clark, Sr., her son Charles Robert Clark, Jr. and her parents, Paul T. and Bertha E. Payne Bennett.

Pallbearers will be Billy Burkeen, Jeff Fortner, Fernando May, Jeff Smith, Brandon Rickman and Nathan Winstead. Honorary pallbearer will be Michael Smith.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dyer County Community Cancer Fund.
