Betty Faye Tirey's Obituary
Betty Faye Tirey, 79, of Dyersburg, died Friday, June 10, 2011 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was a homemaker, member of Finley Baptist Church and a member of Young at Heart.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Charlie Halliburton officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughter, Dian Dawson and husband, Bill, of Dyersburg; two sons, Melvin Tirey and wife, Cathy, of Finley and Kenneth Tirey and wife, Angie, of Newbern; and two grandchildren, Amanda Dawson of Jackson and Brad Beasley of Frog Jump.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Casey Tirey; her parents, Johnny and Lucy Brigance Glozier; and two brothers, J.W. Glozier and Everett Glozier.
Pallbearers will be members of Finley Baptist Church.
The family requests that memorials be directed to Finley Baptist Church or to the West Tennessee Children's Home.
