Mrs. Betty Jo Shull, age 89, of Ridgely, Tn. passed away Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2019, West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Betty was born on February 20, 1930 in Ridgely, TN to the late Robert and Ora Rankin Sweatt. She was a retired school teacher of Lake County School System, and a custom seamstress.

Funeral services for Mrs Betty will be 1 pm Saturday at Abundant Life Fellowship Church, where she was a member, conducted by Bro. David Gray. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely, TN.

The Shull family will receive visitors from 11 am till 1 pm November 30, 2019, at the Abundant Life Fellowship in Ridgely.

Betty was survived by her daughter, Kathryn Ann Basham, of Bentonville, Arkansas, and her son Robert G. Shull (Monica), of Ridgely.  She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Laura Leigh Williams (Peter), Leah Kathryn Shull, Brett Basham, Blake Basham, and her great grandchild Howie.

She was also survived by her sister-in-law, Carolyn Shull, of Ridgely, her niece Lynne Patterson, Mandeville, La., her nephew Jeffrey G. Phebus, of Arlington, Tn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Nard C. Shull.

Pallbearers will be Matt Gray, Alex Hays, Shawn Wortman, Pete Keiser, Rob Bledsoe, James Mooring, Wayne Cranford, and Ken Hickman.

Memorials may be made to Abundant Life Fellowship Church, Ridgely First United Methodist Church, or Charity of the donor's choice.
