Ms. Betty Jo Sheffield, of Dyersburg, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, TN.  She was born in Dyersburg on September 8, 1938 to the late Everett & Ida B. Sheffield.  She worked for many years at Sylvania Manufacturing Co.  She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and loved to help others in any way she could and, in her later years, enjoyed traveling on Senior bus trips across the country.

Betty is survived by her loving friends and extended family members.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Ida B. Yarbrough Sheffield, her brother Arnold Sheffield and sister-in-law Betty, her nephew Terry Sheffield and a cousin, Imogene Johnson.

Graveside funeral services for Ms. Betty Sheffield will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.  Friends and family are invited to gather at the cemetery.
