Betty Tidwell Perkins, 83, of Dyersburg, passed away on Sunday at Methodist Hospice Residence in Memphis.

She is survived by her sister, Artie Jones; her husband of 65 years, Bill; her sons, Phillip and Mark Perkins; and her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Tony Green, all who will greatly miss her and her picnics. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Ryan and Regan, of whom she was most proud and prayed for every day.

She will also be missed by her Sunday School Class and other friends at Dyersburg First Baptist Church.

Her services will be conducted there by her friend and pastor Mike Hickman on Thursday at 2 p.m. Visitation will be at Dyersburg Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m.

She asks that in lieu of flowers, her friends make a donation to her church or to McIver's Grant Public Library in Dyersburg.
