Betty Sue Patterson's Obituary
Betty Sue Patterson, 77, of Finley, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at her residence.
She was a retired custodian for Finley Elementary School and a member of Junction Church of God.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Tittle and the Rev. Shaun Hawks officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her two daughters, Cathy Sue Biggers of Dyersburg and Pennie Kaye Patterson of Finley; two sons, Ricky Wayne Patterson of Dyersburg and Richie Lynn Patterson of Finley; three sisters, Florence Bishop and Bessie Fitzhugh, both of Dyersburg and Shirley Webber of Florida; two brothers, Larry Ables of Dyersburg and Howard Ables of Alabama; ten grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Roy Patterson; two sons, Jimmy Dale Patterson and Timmy Joe Patterson; and her parents, Howard Edward and Vinnie Viola (Canada) Ables.
Pallbearers will be James Morgan, Brandon Patterson, Donnie Woods, Jeff Burns, Shaun Hawks, Ronnie Stafford and Terry Brown.
