Betty Initha Paris Daugherty, 83, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Betty was born on April 24, 1937, in Friendship, TN, to the late, Dewey and Bessie Weaver Rouse. She was a homemaker and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Friday, January 1, 2021 at Dyersburg Funeral Home with graveside services to follow at Fairview Cemetery at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Durham officiating.

Survivors include her son, Gary Paris and wife, Sonia, of Jacksonville, FL; a step-son, Chris Daugherty of Ripley, TN; three sisters, Brenda Hayes of Jackson, TN, Carolyn Rouse of North Carolina and Ruth Lambert of Alamo, TN; three brothers, Darrell Rouse of Raleigh, NC, Jesse Delaney of Bonicord, TN and James Delaney of Alamo, TN; five grandchildren, Kyle Paris, Sarah Hein, Alex Agresta, Demi Agresta and Austin Allen; and two great-grandchildren, Caroline Paris and Jacie Allen.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Paris and Hertis Daugherty.

Pallbearers will be Mike Hanes, Kyle Paris, Austin Allen, Joseph Paris and Ray Windle.
