Betty Rose Morris' Obituary
Betty Rose Morris, 83, of Dyersburg, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2014 at her residence.
She was retired from the cotton card department at Dyersburg Fabrics. She was an avid bowler and gardener.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Klutts officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her four daughters, Debbie Everett and husband, Steve, of Newbern, Cecilia Morris of Dyersburg, Karen Schauer of Trenton and Tereasa Gains and husband, Richard, of Moore, OK; three sons, James Morris, Jr. of Gates, Philip Morris and wife, Tina, of Nashville and Daniel Morris of Dyersburg; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, William Morris and Robert Morris; her parents, Edward, Sr. and Ruth Carlin Layton; and a brother, Edward Layton, Jr.
