Betty Jean Hopper, 76, of Tiptonville, died Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a homemaker and a member of Keystone Church of God.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Keystone Church of God with the Rev. Clayton Mahan officiating. Burial will be in Crocketts Chapel Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Monday at the church.
Survivors include her two daughters, Cathy Sherrill and Teresa Hopper, both of Tiptonville; three sons, Danny Wheeler, Gene Hopper and Ricky Hopper, all of Tiptonville; two sisters, Verba Bramlett of Samburg and Evelyn Pierce of Dyersburg; two brothers, Cliff Berry of Tiptonville and Greg Berry of Dyersburg; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Hopper; a daughter, Vicki Gail Hopper; three sons, Dennis Ray Hopper, Tony Dewayne Hopper and David Hopper; her parents, Pete and Audrey Godwin Berry; two sisters, Myron Maxine Berry and Georgia Curvin; and two brothers, J.F. Berry and James Earl Berry.
Pallbearers will be Alfred Travelstead, Benny Long, Lilburn "Bubba" Henson, Ronnie Hays, Kevin Vaughn and Rodney McCoy. Grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
