Betty "Blossom" Jane Baucom, 88, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024 at the West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

She was a devoted homemaker who found joy in gardening and canning vegetables. Her days were often spent working in her flower beds and riding horses. She had a passion for fishing and was known for her beautiful quilts. Her love for her church and gospel music was evident to all who knew her.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 13, 2024 at the Church of Jesus Christ, 120 Hamer Road, Dyersburg, TN 38024 with Pastor Jerry Stafford officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her three grandsons, John Baucom and wife, Amanda, of Ridgely, TN, Jay Wells and wife, Belinda, of Finley, TN, and Eric Wells and wife, Tonya, of Dyersburg, TN; four great-grandchildren; and her two nieces that she raised as her own, Reba Collins and Shirley King, both of Dyersburg, TN.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Baucom; three sons, Joel Baucom, Billy Baucom and Kenneth Baucom; and her three brothers.
