Betty Lee Hopper, 73, of Troy, formerly of Tiptonville, died Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
She was a retired bookkeeper for Blue Bank Resort and a member of Wynnburg Baptist Church.
There will be a private family memorial service.
Survivors include her daughter, Lourie Coupe of Troy; a son, Mike Hopper and wife, Carla, of Tiptonville; a brother, Richard Fields of Springfield, OR; four grandchildren, Will Hopper, Michael Hunt, Tyler Hopper and Taylor Hopper; two great-grandchildren, Weston Hunt and Ethan Hunt; and three very special nieces, Kathy Dean of Nashville, Patricia Lynch and Judy Calhoun, both of Tiptonville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dubie Hopper; two sons, Jock Hopper and Herbie Hopper; her parents, J.W. and Lagretta Terrill Fields; a sister, Fidelia Campbell; and a brother, Gene Hopper.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society.
