Mrs. Betty Ann Hooper passed away to her heavenly home on May 3, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Gee Gee was loved by all that knew her. She loved her God, her family, and her church where she served alongside her husband James of 65 1/2 years.

We can't imagine a world without Gee Gee in it, but God needed her more.

Gee Gee was the sweetest, and if you ever got a hug & kiss from her consider yourself lucky.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2022 at Rehoboth Cemetery with Mr. Greg Welsh officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, James D. Hooper of Dyersburg, TN; two daughters, Cynthia McClure (Marty) and Jennifer Wood (Rob); five granddaughters, Cortney Hemphill (Blake), Cara Lee Rose (Blake), Shelly Sides (David), Kaitlyn Fussell (Jacob) and Sydney Lane (Matt); and three great-grandchildren, Megan Sides, Finley Fussell and Bennett Lane.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert L. and Drudie Webb Olive; and four brothers, Thomas Lee Olive, Gerald Olive, James Harold Olive and Jimmy Webb Olive.

Pallbearers will be Rob Wood, Blake Hemphill, Blake Rose, Scott Hughes, Jacob Fussell, Matt Lane and Marty McClure.

The family requests that memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
