Mrs. Betty Jernigan Harris, of Ripley, TN passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Baptist Hospital- Tipton County in Covington TN.  She was born October 21, 1955 to the late Junior & Dorothy Jernigan.  She was a dedicated homemaker and loved playing BINGO every chance she had.  She enjoyed watching Western shows, playing games, visiting or calling her family members and getting out sightseeing and riding the roads.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Paul Harris, her children, Danny Dew & wife, Delinda Gadd, Dale Harris & wife Kristen and Sabrina Howard & husband, Eric.  She loved being "Grandma" to her Grandchildren: David Smith, Isaac Harris ( Rachel ), Joshua Harris ( Jaimee), Ashley Wright ( Nathan ), Angelique Howard ( Dylan Green), Anastasia Howard, Alexander Howard, Tyler Harris, Jordan Harris, Anna Pearce, Nikki Lawson, Angel Smith, Natalie Lawson, Ashley Foster, Ashton Lawson, Nadalyn Lawson, Nickey Lawson and her Great-Grandchildren:  Juniper Smith, Stagger Wells, Jase Koonce, Elijah Harris, Sierra Howard, Ryland Wright, Samantha Midkiff, Raylynn Green, Chase Pearce, Keila Smith, Niall Alexander and Sevyn Wells and also her brothers, William Jernigan ( Janice ), Johnny Jernigan ( Lisa ) and Jerry Jernigan, all of Dyersburg and her sister, Teresa Ring ( Wayne ) of Trimble, TN.  She was also greatly loved by her many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her Grand-Daughter, Samantha Nicole Howard.

Visitation will be held at Dyersburg Funeral Home on Wed. September 1, 2021 from 5:00 until 7:00.  A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. conducted by Bro. Mac Daniels.

The family request that all persons attending visitation and services wear a mask and maintain distancing as possible.
