Betty Joyce Barnes Davidson, 63, of Finley, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at her residence.

She was a retired Teacher's Aide and Bus Driver for the Dyer County Board of Education and a member of the Junction Church of God.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Junction Church of God officiated by Bro. Kenny Chessor. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

Survivors include her husband, Clifford Davidson of Finley; a daughter, Sherry Beasley of Jackson; a son, Steve Simmons of Adamsville; a sister, Virginia Lacy of Finley; three grandchildren, Cody Simmons, Heather Beasley and Alex Simmons; two nieces, Anita Eaton and Tonya Hughes; and two nephews, Danny Lacy and Scott Lacy.

She was preceded in death by her son, Mitchell Simmons; and her parents, Ordie and Lorene Anderson Barnes.

Pallbearers will be Danny Lacy, Scott Lacy, Robbie Eaton, Randall Hughes, Jeff Hill and Steven Brock.
