Bettie Kate Morgan, 79, of Huntingdon, died Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.

She was a retired factory worker for Dyersburg Fabrics, where she worked in the Spinning Dept. She was a Presbyterian.

Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Guy Merryman officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Don E. Morgan of Huntingdon; two daughters, LaDonna Morgan of Huntingdon and Mona Bush and husband, John, of Union City; two sons, David Morgan and wife, Rene, of Huntingdon and Randall Morgan and wife, Kathy, of Newbern; a brother, Colin Peery of Evansville; ten grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Summers and Opal Pate Peery.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
