Bessie Onedia Walker Hanks, 90, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

She was retired from GTE Sylvania and a member of The Sanctuary of Dyersburg.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Jaco officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda McCormack of Dyersburg; a daughter-in-law, Lois Walker of Dyersburg; four grandchildren, Larry McCormack and wife, Lanny, and Amy Maupin and husband, Mark, all of Dyersburg, Keith McCormack and wife, Ginny, of Alcoa and Mike Walker and wife, Misty, of Henderson; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ernest Walker and Howard Hanks; a son, Billy Walker; her parents, R.H. and Sally Cantrell Bell; and several brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be Larry McCormack, Keith McCormack, Mike Walker, Adam McCormack, Mark Maupin and Phillip Turner.
