Bessie Mae French, 89, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
She was born on January 30, 1928 in Dyersburg, TN to the late Benjamin Harrison Ray and the late Lena Marie Tinsley French. Bessie was a retired manager for Continental Baking Company. She was also a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Loren Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary French Missman and husband, Dan, of Nashville; a son, Doug French and wife, Kay, of Dyersburg; and three grandchildren, Lisa Woodrough and husband, Jody, of Palm Bay, FL, Ryan French of Dyersburg and Shannon Rae Campbell and husband, Keith, of Ashland City.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George David French; a son, David Earl French; three sisters; and four brothers.
Pallbearers will be Dan Missman, Aiden Campbell, Zander French, Lynn Hicks, Bennie Hendren and Ronnie Epperson.
