Bertha King Sandlin's Obituary
Bertha King Sandlin, 91, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, November, 16, 2010 at Maple Ridge Assisted Living Center.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Saltillo, MS. for over 40 years.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Fairview Cemetery with Bro. Charlie Halliburton officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 10-10:45 a.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughter, Susanne King Dement and husband, Dr. Roy Dement, of Brighton; a son, Jack M. King and wife, Shirley, of Montpelier, VA.; four grandchildren, Ashley, Dana, Dale and Michelle; six great grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Frank "Jack" King and James H. Sandlin; her parents, Marshall and Johanna Doyle Eudaley; and three sisters, Lavene May and husband, Tom, Margaret Jowers and husband, Joe, and Lois Balentine and husband, Charlie.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family requests that memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
