Bert Tolley, 54, of Tiptonville, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2013 at his residence.

He was the manager for Oakhaven Apartments and a member of Ridgely Church of Christ.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ridgely Church of Christ with Bro. Jeff O'Dell and Bro. Leonard York officiating. Burial will be in Lake Memorial Gardens. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Saturday in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home and from 12-2 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Survivors include his mother, Melba Jean Tolley Shanklin of Tiptonville; a brother, James F. Tolley and wife, Diana, of Tiptonville; one niece, Kayla Beth Howard and husband, Brad, of Tiptonville; a nephew, Kenneth Jason Tolley and wife, Crystal, of Tiptonville; four grand nieces, Lauren Amber Tolley, Alexis Erin Tolley, Hailey Brooke Burrus and Jessica Malyn Burrus, all of Tiptonville; and a grand nephew, Jacob Hunter Burrus of Tiptonville.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Franklin Tolley, Sr.

Pallbearers will be Lamar Traffenstd, Dennis Rinks, Jason Tolley, Brad Howard, Calvin Mills and Sam Turner. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Randall, Elmer Staggs, Jim Coon and Dr. Ron Corum.
