Berenice Ramsey Burton's Obituary
Berenice Ramsey Burton, 95, of Dyersburg, died Friday, March 8, 2013 at her residence.
She was a retired clerk for Agricultural, Conservation and Stabilization Office, where she worked for 25 years, attended Finley United Methodist Church and was an avid gardener.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Gunter officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her son, Rhett Burton and wife, Jackie, of Huntsville, AL; two grandchildren, Brian Burton and wife, Lisa, of Albany GA and Troy Burton and wife, Leah, of Cary, NC; and three great-grandchildren, Molly Burton, Ella Grace Burton and Alan Burton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley Burton; her parents, Lester and Lillie Paine Ramsey; and three sisters, Emogene Burchfiel, Margaret Lindsey and LaNita Gregory.
Pallbearers will be Brian Burton, Troy Burton, Rusty Lindsey, Alan Burchfiel, Malcolm Burchfiel and Terry Nale.
