Ben Brashier, 73, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired Line Foreman with Colonial Rubber, where he worked for 26 years, a member of Phillips Street Church of Christ, a former member of Tennessee Army National Guard and a former member of the Woodmen of the World.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Bright officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Cupples Brashier of Dyersburg; a daughter, Benita Brashier Jowers of Dyersburg; a son, Joel Brashier of Dyersburg; three grandchildren, Jackie Capps, Michael Jowers and Bethany Brashier; and two great-grandchildren, Tiffani Lee and Kylee Grace Jowers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Mary Pope Brashier; a grandchild, Colton Brashier; two sisters, Doris Crumley and Evelyn Kimbrell; and two brothers, Wesley Brashier and James Brashier.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Cupples, Carmen Cupples, Chad Barron, Craig Barron, Mike French and Harvey Barrett.
Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
