Beatrice Fowler Clark, 87, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Alamo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on August 9, 1935, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Troy and Mary Asbill Fowler. Beatrice worked in housekeeping at Parkview Hospital for 15 years and was a member of First United Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed cooking meals for her family and friends and was well-known for her wonderful meals she prepared. Beatrice loved her family, gardening and yardwork. She loved to keep a neat yard.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2023 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Dr. Gene Stafford, Bro. John Fowler and Bro. Gary Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her three daughters, Kathy Curtis (Thomas) and Shenia Leggett, all of Dyersburg, TN and Mitzie Stafford (Gene) of Friendship, TN; a son, David Clark of Covington, TN; three sisters, Peggy Stanford (Travis) of Trezevant, TN, Mary Lynn Williams of Indiana and Diana Kirby of Dyersburg, TN; four brothers, Herman Fowler (Kathy) of Petersburg, VA, Thurman Fowler (Mary Jane) of Tigrett, TN, Gary Fowler (Laticia) of Cullman, AL and John Wayne Fowler of Alamo, TN; ten grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband, James Murphy Clark; a son, Timmy Wayne Clark; two brothers, Howard Fowler and Charles Fowler; a sister, Shirley Thompson; and a grandson, Kenneth Wade Griffin.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Griffin, Kenneth Griffin, Jr., James Stafford, Jerod Stafford, Jason Smith and Adam Austin.
