Barry Adams, 77, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at his residence.

Barry was born on June 23, 1945, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late, Leroy and Louise Climber Adams. He was an assistant manager for Hampton Inn in Dyersburg. For many years, Barry worked in management at the Holiday Inn until the Hampton Inn came to Dyersburg. He will be long remembered as helping his family as he grew up truck farming with his parents in Fowlkes, TN.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor George Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The Adams Family will receive visitors from 5-8:30 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2022 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his son, Douglas Brian Adams of Cleveland, TN; three grandchildren, Lily Ann Louise Adams, Sarah Grace Adams and Nathaniel Luke Adams; and two step-daughters, Tifany Glomb and Hayley Downs Barry.

In addition to his parents, Barry was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Ann Weeks Adams; a son, Donald Barry "Willie" Adams, Jr; and a brother, Jimmy L. Adams.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Adams, Scott Adams, Britt Weeks, Jose Cintron, Jeff Stutts and Austin Fuentes.
