Barbara Lee Tibbs, 76, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at her residence.

She was born on May 31, 1942, in Ridgely, TN, to the late Robert Williams and the late Gladys Steward Williams. Barbara was a data clerk for Penguin USA, where she worked for 11 years and was a homemaker. She was also a former employee at K-Mart and Peebles. Barbara graduated from Lake County High School in 1960. She was a member of West Dyersburg Church of Christ.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018 at West Dyersburg Church of Christ with Mr. Rick Crawford and Mrs. Debbie Passmore officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the church.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Jacks Tibbs of Dyersburg; a daughter, Debbie Lynn Tibbs Passmore and husband, Donald, of Clarksville; a son, Lee J. Tibbs of Newbern; and two grandchildren, Alex McBride and Abby McBride.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Wanda Poole, Villa Green and Alice Fay Williams; and a brother, James Robert Williams.

Pallbearers will be John Morris, Bill McBride, Pete Riggs, Pete Pleasant, Jimmy Jones and Daniel Watson.
