Barbara Ann Anderson, 78, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

She was born on March 27, 1944, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Paul and Jessie Willard Christian. Barbara was a CNA and a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing with her husband and cooking for her family. Barbara loved her granddaughters, swinging on her back porch, reading and singing.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2023 at Our Little Country Church with Bro. Royce McGuire officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The Anderson Family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2023 at Our Little Country Church.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Allen Anderson of Dyersburg, TN; a son, Chase Anderson of Dyersburg, TN; a daughter, Lorie Cook (Allen) of Dyersburg, TN; two stepchildren, Shane Anderson, Harrison, Ark. and Patricia Gay, Romeoville, Ill.; two sisters, Joan Colvin of Dyersburg, TN and Vicki Robinson of Houston, TX; a brother, Jimmy Christian of Union City, TN; three grandchildren, Shelby Cook, Cassidy Cook and Emily Anderson; and a great-granddaughter, Nora Scarlett Widner.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by two sisters, June Jones and Paulette Hudson; and two brothers, Carl Christian and Jackie Christian, and a stepson Ricky Anderson.
