Austin Eugene Hill's Obituary
Austin Eugene Hill, 77, of Finley, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired factory employee with Dyersburg Fabrics and a farmer. He was a member of Junction Church of God and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenny Chessor officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Hill of Dyersburg; two daughters, Kelly Brock and husband, Bill, of Finley and Eugenia Boatright and husband, Tommy, of Dyersburg; a son, Jeff Hill and wife, Cindy, of Finley; three sisters, Carlene Lambert of Elkhart, IN., Idelle Lewis of Trimble and Joanne Brasfield of Milan; four brothers, Buddy Hill of Dyersburg, R.C. Hill of Nashville, Carl Hill of Newbern and Jimmy Hill of Tatumville; four grandchildren, Jamie Hill, Wyatt Hill, Rachel Boatright and Cole Fowler; and one great-grandchild, Austin Hill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clay and Ophelia Pratt Hill; a sister, Peggy Johnson; and a grandson, Jeffrey Austin Hill.
Pallbearers will be Toma Lewis, George Anderson, Don Smith, Phillip Bowles, Tim Vestal and Wayne Vestal. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry B. Hampton and Danny Lacy.
The family requests that memorials be directed to Junction Church of God.
