Audie Belle Gauldin's Obituary
Audie Belle Gauldin, 94, of Dyersburg, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009 at Oakwood Community Living Center.
She was a homemaker and the oldest member of Springhill Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for 60 years and sang in the choir.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. James Branscum and Tom Butler officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Ann Maupin and husband, Jere, of Dyersburg; two grandchildren, Andy Maupin of Jonesboro, Ark., and Jason Maupin of Murfreesboro; and two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Maupin of Jonesboro, Ark., and Madison Maupin of Murfreesboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Earl Gauldin; her parents, Henry and Mattie Gibson; two sisters, Oleda Butler and Bonnie McGuire; and a brother, Henry Connie Gibson.
Pallbearers will be John Henson, David McGuire, Sam McGuire, Bobby Sikes, Doug Shepherd and Danny Kelley. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Thurmond, Jimmy McGuire, William McGuire and Ronald McGuire.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to Springhill Baptist Church, 6671 Hwy. 78 N., Dyersburg, TN 38024.
