Arthur Horace Covey's Obituary
Arthur Horace Covey, 76, of Dyersburg, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired employee with General Motors.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny O'Guin officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery in Obion.
The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his daughter, Deborah Kay Covey Watson of Tinley Park, IL; a sister, Virgie Rushing of Martin; a brother, Cy Dave Covey of Dyersburg; three grandchildren, Dana Kesler of Wheaton, IL., David Watson and Nicole Watson, both of Tinley Park, IL; and his loving companion, Wanda Bozman of Dyersburg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Allen Willis Covey; his parents, Arthur and Hettie Crouson Covey; two sisters, Helen Ruth Pugh and Viola Phelan; and a brother, Ben "Buck" Covey.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Covey, Rick Watson, David Watson, Perry Golden, Ray Covey and Michael Logan.
