Arnold "Arnie" Rutenber, 66, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, Sept., 14, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a self-employed truck driver, a Baptist, an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the American Legion.

A celebration of life at 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Katie Slaughter Rutenber; two daughters, Johnna Rutenber of Sanger, Texas and Brenda Rutenber of Alvord, Texas; a stepdaughter, Angie King Ford and husband, Jerod, of New Washington, Ind.; a stepson, Greg King and wife, Jennifer of Dyersburg; a sister, Arlene Voochis of Ninevah, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Rutenber; and a brother, Lloyd Rutenber.
