Anthony Scott Wilson, 42, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020 in Trenton, TN.
Scott was born on November 8, 1977, in Dyersburg, TN, to J.L. Wilson and Sonia Hatch Clark. He was a self-employed mechanic and was a former employee of Huish Detergents, where he was on the BBQ Grill Team. Scott was an avid racing fan at the Mid South Dragway, where he was known as "Kornbread". His passion was to get people into recovery.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2020 at First Assembly of God in Dyersburg with Mr. Michael Wilson, Rev. Carmon Dennison and Rev. Jacob Winegardner officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his daughter, Alexis Mosley (Joe) of Newbern, TN; a son, Anthony Kane Wilson of Bogota, TN; his mother and step-father, Sonia and Roger Clark of Dyersburg, TN; his father and step-mother, J.L. and Brenda Wilson of Dyersburg, TN; his grandmother, Shirley Hatch of Dyersburg, TN; a brother, Michael Jay Wilson (Crystal) of Rutherford, TN; a step-brother, Kevin Mitchell of Dyersburg, TN; a step-sister, Kim Krebs (Barry) of Atlanta, GA a grandson, Axel Lee Mosley; nieces and nephews, Raelyn, Kiley, Isaiah and Chiloh and known as Uncle Scott "Num Num" to so many more.
Scott was preceded in death by his grandfather, Elgon Ray Hatch; his grandmother, Mamaw Wilson; his great-grandparents, Big Ma & Pa Hatch; a grandchild, Baby Mosely; and two cousins, Tabatha Wilson and Stephanie Smith Bottoms.
