Mr. Anthony Ray Alexander, of Newbern, TN passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at his home.

He was born on August 10, 1972 to Ray and Janice Alexander. Anthony proudly served in the Tennessee Army National Guard in Newbern, TN. He excelled at academics in school and worked in production and as a machinist for local industries including World Color Press, NSK and most recently Nortek Manufacturing. While at World Color, he met his future wife, Ann, and grew to love time spent with her sons. He treasured his role as "PaPaw-Anthony" and loved watching his grandchildren grow up. He loved all sorts of outdoor activities like ATV rides, hunting and fishing.

Anthony is survived by his father, Walter Ray Alexander; his mother, Janice Hastings Alexander; a sister, Jina Bridges and husband, Bryon, of Halls, TN,  his step-sons Travis Burpo and wife, Lindsey and Thomas Burpo, all of Obion County, TN, his Uncle Jerry Alexander and his nieces Lauren Spencer and husband, Blake, Madison Johnson and husband, Cory and nephew Briar Bridges and his seven grandchildren, Lance, Landon, Paityn, Mason, Carlee, Remi and Tatum.  He is preceded in death by his wife of 22 years, Margaret Ann Alexander and his grandparents Frank & Geraldine Alexander and Jessie Hastings.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025 at Dyersburg Funeral Home beginning at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Services will follow at 5:00 p.m. in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
