Annie Sue Wells, 88, of Foley, AL, formerly of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Robertsdale Nursing Home in Robertsdale, AL.

Sue was born on May 11, 1931, in Ridgely, TN, to the late Henry and Callie Barnes Leary. She was a housewife and a mother. Sue was a member of Fort Hudson Baptist Church. When her husband Frank passed away, Sue moved to Foley, AL to live with her oldest daughter.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Don Layman officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely, TN.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2020 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her two daughters, Carol Lewandowski and husband, Ralph, of Foley, AL and Janice Marie Tugman and husband, Rich, of Chicago, IL; two sons, Larry Franklin Wells of Springfield, IL and Glenn Allen Wells and wife, Pam, of Minnesota; two sisters, Sarah Climer and husband, James and Sandra Kay Elliott, all of Dyersburg, TN; seven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Allen Wells; a sister, Lee Ellen Pillow; and two brothers, J.T. Leary and Dalton Leary.

Pallbearers will be Ralph Lewandowski, Rich Tugman, Mo Abualsayyed and Robbie McDonald. Honorary pallbearer will be James Climer.
