Anne Marie Neal, 87, of Bonicord, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.
She was a retired school teacher with the Dyer County School System. She was a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University and Union University. Mrs. Neal was a lifelong member of Millers Chapel Church of Christ. She was a member of the retired Teachers Association and a member of TOPS.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Millers Chapel Church of Christ with Bro. Don Reel and Bro. Nathan Forrester officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The Neal Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Dyersburg Funeral Home and from 10-11 a.m. Monday at the church.
Survivors include her daughter, Ruth Anne Smith and husband, Jeff, of Humboldt; a son, Billy N. Neal and wife, LeeAnn, of Dyersburg; and three grandchildren, Annalynn Smith Floyd and husband, Cody, of Friendship, Neal Smith of Nashville and Allison Smith of Humboldt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Neal; her parents, Dr. Clyde and Betty Pate Nash; two sisters, Sue Hartman and Frances Reel; and two brothers, Max Nash and Jimmy Nash.
Pallbearers will be Neal Smith, Jeff Smith, Cody Floyd, Scotty Nash, Anthony Nash and Kenneth Neal.
In lieu of flowers, the Neal Family requests that memorials be directed to Millers Chapel Church of Christ.
