Anita Kay Smith, 54, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024 at her residence.

Anita was born on October 8, 1969, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Bobby Smith Sr. and Doris Lamb Scott. She was a former secretary for the Law Office of Tim Naifeh and also worked at the Northwest Correctional Complex in Tiptonville.

Memorial visitation for Ms. Anita will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2024 at the Dyersburg Funeral Home Ridgely Chapel.

Survivors include her brother, Bobby Smith, Jr. (Wanda Joyce), of Des Moines, Iowa; two nephews, Christopher Michael Smith (Megan) and Shawn Patrick Smith; and two great-nephews, Drake Smith and Hunter Smith.

In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Pitts.
