Angel J. Cole, 93, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021 at her son's residence in Dyersburg.

Angel was born on March 28, 1928, in Pyburns, TN, to the late, Ganes and Dollie Foust Johnston. She was a cosmetologist, owner of Angel Crown Center and was a member of Springhill Baptist Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 31, 2021 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Rev. James Branscum. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors starting at 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Survivors include her son, Tony Cole of Dyersburg, TN; a daughter, Camille Welborn of Antioch, TN; a sister, Virgie Parrish of Carbondale, IL; and three grandchildren, Jessica Cole Jensen (Aleko) of Nevada, Sarah Welborn and Michael Welborn.

In addition to her parents, Angel was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Cole; two brothers, Dr. Taylor Johnston and Brite Johnston; and four sisters, Sweetie Richardson, Tincie Ferguson, Loyal Gray and Toy Norwood.

Pallbearers will be her nephews.
