Her heart was captured by the rhythms of country and western music, and she delighted in the simple joys of dancing, reading, and spending blissful moments at the beach. Those who had the pleasure of sharing her company knew her as an exceptional cook, whose meals were crafted with love and enjoyed by family and friends alike.

Amy’s family meant the world to her, and she treasured the time spent with her loved ones. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Tracey Pratl, and her husband Anthony, who reside in Romeoville, Illinois. Amy’s family circle also includes her brother Warren “Bill” Monday and his wife Sherry of Illinois, along with her two sisters, Mari Jones and Laurie Palacious, both of Friendship, Tennessee. These living family members carry forward her legacy of kindness, resilience, and devotion.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Floyd and Cecile Jones Monday, and a brother, Floyd “Charley” Monday, whose memories remain ever present in the hearts of those who knew Amy.

Amy Cecile Monday’s life was a testament to dedication, love, and the joy found in everyday moments. Her gentle spirit and warm presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who were fortunate to know her.
