Amy Hurt, 84, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Harborview Health Systems of Dyersburg.

Amy was born on August 13, 1936, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late, Joseph and Pearl Stanfill Alford. She was the co-owner and worked in sales with Alford Printing & Office Supply. Amy received her Bachelor's Degree from U.T. Martin and was a Methodist by faith.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, December 7, 2020 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors starting at 1 p.m. until service time.

Survivors include her two brothers, Jerry G. Alford (Laquita) of Dyersburg, TN and Bobby G. Alford (Ruth) of Millington, TN; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Amy was preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Michelle Hurt-Devo; five brothers; and five sisters.
