Amy Dawn Bane-Reed, 47, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Methodist Hospital Germantown.

She was born on March 10, 1971, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Thomas "Tommy" Edward Bane and Rebecca Miller Bane. Amy attended Love and Truth Church in Dyersburg. She was a volunteer for St. Jude and also for local cancer fundraising. Amy loved holidays and her favorite season was Fall. She was a beloved and dedicated friend to many. Amy was a pet lover, especially to her beloved Shinese, Sonny-B.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2018 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Ms. Lisa Bane and Pastor James Mosely, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff Reed of Dyersburg; her son, Colton S. Bane and wife, Julia, of Collierville; her mother, Rebecca Miller Bane of Dyersburg; her sister, Melissa "Lisa" Meshel Bane of Dyersburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Alex Colby Bane; and her grandparents, Edward and Fairy Bane and Bill and Alice Miller.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Smith, Adam Smith, Tommie Pylent, II, Christopher Reed, Brent Reed and Dustin Reed. Honorary pallbearers will be her uncle Joe Don Bane, Emmett Smith, Gavin Lambert, Luke Lambert and Trevor Lambert.

The family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
