Alice "Louise" Lovins, 93, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Louise was born on June 4, 1927, in Friendship, TN, to the late, Collie and Hattie Brasfield Hopper. She was co-owner of Vandevelde Hardware and was a member of Fowlkes Baptist Church. Louise loved to give hugs, loved everyone and was loved by everyone. She was known as Granny Lou by her grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2021 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny O'Guin. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2021 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her three daughters, Cathy Burns (Dennis) of Covington, TN, Jean Nolen (Larry) of Dyersburg, TN and Joan Spencer (Paul) of Medina, TN; a son, Randy Lovins (Sherry of Finley, TN; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Alva George "Bud" Lovins; three sisters, Doris Hicks, Hazel Bennett and Betty Vaughn; two brothers, Leland Hopper and C.B. Hopper; and a grandson, Rodney Fisher.

Pallbearers will be Keith Lovins, Greg Lovins, Jason Barr, Michael Thurmon, Brandon Thurmon, Logan Burns, Dion Bryant and Matt Jacobi.
