Alice "Faye" Dishman, 73, of Dyersburg, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was a homemaker and a member of West Dyersburg Church of Christ. Faye was also a member of the Jackson Area Plectral Society.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at West Dyersburg Church of Christ with Bro. Jim Chamblee and Bro. Austin Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home and from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Survivors include her daughter, Renee Dishman Viar of Yorkville; two sons, Allen Dishman and Chris Dishman and wife, Chasity, all of Dyersburg; a sister, Barbara Talley of Cookeville; a brother, Carl Hitchcock of Sparta; six grandchildren, Kayla Viar, Tyler Viar, Elisa Viar, Hunter Viar, Presley Dishman and Mitchell Dishman; and a great-granddaughter, Chloe Viar.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Truman Allen Dishman, Sr.; and her parents, Kenneth "Bill" and Essie Thurman Mitchell.

Pallbearers will be Dale Woods, Dwaine Johnston, Bill McBride, Tom Eison, Jimmy Jones and Jon Morris. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Simpson, Lester Frost, Neal Singleton, Novis Fisher and Jimmy Talley.
