Alice Collins, 94, of Dyersburg, died Monday, March 23, 2009 at Wesley at Dyersburg Nursing Care.
She was a homemaker and a member of North 51 Church of Jesus Christ.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Winstead officiating. Burial will be in Meacham Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Collins Evans of Newbern; a sister, Lorene Barnes Shanklin of Dyersburg; 18 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Mack Collins; her parents, Jim and Ida Dunlap Reeves; four sons, Eugene Collins, William Collins Jr., M.C. Collins and Willie B. Collins; a sister, Kathleen Vancleave; and three brothers, John E. Reeves, Jimmy Reeves and Clarence Reeves.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Collins, Billy Lattimer, Robert Sego, Steve Simmons, Danny Lacy and Scott Lacy.
