Aaron Lee Billingsley, 90, of Dyersburg, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015 at Dyersburg Manor.
He was a retired store manager at Hancock Fabrics and a former operator of Kady's Café in Trimble. He was a Navy World War II veteran and a former Trimble Police Officer. He attended church at The Gathering Place.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral home with Rev. Michael Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Poplar Grove Cemetery in Newbern.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Norma Billingsley of Dyersburg; a son, Tom Billingsley, and wife Tara, of Elkhorn, WI; a step-son, Russell Harness, and wife Kay, of Garland, TX; two step-daughters, Amanda Harness, and husband Dave, and Teresa Harness, all of Dyersburg; twelve grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ethel McNabb Billingsley; four brothers; and two sisters.
Pallbearers will be Jeramie Palmer, Willie Palmer, Hunter Jackson, David Bolding, Jim Jordan, and Jim Poe.
