Jacob Cole Nunley, 18, of Dyersburg, died Monday, September 10, 2012 at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville.
He was a student at Middle Tennessee State University, member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and an employee of Applebee's in Murfreesboro.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at First Christian Church in Dyersburg. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Dyersburg Funeral Home and from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday at First Christian Church in Dyersburg.
Survivors include his mother, Shawna McIntosh of Dyersburg; his father, Chris Nunley of Clearwater, FL.; a sister, Leslie Suzane Adams of Nashville; his grandmothers, Jeanette Blansett of Dyersburg and Dolly Stutts of Clearwater, FL.; an aunt, Misty Jackson and husband, Shane, of Dyersburg; an uncle, Chris Wilson of Dyersburg; and three cousins, Ethan Jackson, Wesley Jackson and Will Wilson.
Pallbearers will be Chris Wilson, John Troy, Shane Jackson, Aaron Montgomery, Taylor Collins, Bryce Beasley and Steven Tarr. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the Jacob Nunley Fund C/O Alecia Gibbons at First Citizens National Bank and Regions Bank and First State Bank C/O Shawna McIntosh or to the charity of the donor's choice.
